Protein Ball Recipe
Try out these power-packed bites! Super clean, simple, and easy to make right at home.
- 3 Bearded Brothers Bars (your favorite flavor)
- 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., almond butter, peanut butter)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate flavor)
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbs chia seeds
- Optional additions: shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or crushed nuts
- Start by breaking the Bearded Brothers Bars into small pieces and place them in a food processor. Pulse a few times until the bars are broken down into smaller chunks.
- Add the nut butter, maple syrup, protein powder, and seeds to the food processor.
- Process the mixture until well combined. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl a few times to ensure everything is mixed evenly.
- Once the mixture forms a sticky dough-like consistency, transfer it to a bowl.
- Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 3/4 inch in diameter, using your hands.
- If desired, roll the protein bites in shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or crushed nuts to add extra flavor, texture and keep them from sticking together on-the-go.
- Place the protein bites on the prepared baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours to firm up.
- Once chilled, the protein bites are ready to be enjoyed. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
