Protein Ball Recipe

Try out these power-packed bites! Super clean, simple, and easy to make right at home.  

Ingredients:

  • 3 Bearded Brothers Bars (your favorite flavor)
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., almond butter, peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate flavor)
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbs chia seeds
  • Optional additions: shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or crushed nuts

Instructions:

  1. Start by breaking the Bearded Brothers Bars into small pieces and place them in a food processor. Pulse a few times until the bars are broken down into smaller chunks.
  2. Add the nut butter, maple syrup, protein powder, and seeds to the food processor.
  3. Process the mixture until well combined. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl a few times to ensure everything is mixed evenly.
  4. Once the mixture forms a sticky dough-like consistency, transfer it to a bowl.
  5. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 3/4 inch in diameter, using your hands.
  7. If desired, roll the protein bites in shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or crushed nuts to add extra flavor, texture and keep them from sticking together on-the-go.
  8. Place the protein bites on the prepared baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours to firm up.
  9. Once chilled, the protein bites are ready to be enjoyed. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
